India Defeats China: The Indian women’s hockey team defeated China 2-1 in a thrilling match at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium in Ranchi, Jharkhand on October 30, 2023. This was India’s third consecutive win in the tournament, and they now sit at the top of the standings.

They were finally rewarded in the 15th minute when Deepika converted a penalty stroke to give India a 1-0 lead.
