India’s Squad for the Asia Cup 2022: The countdown for the 2022 Asia Cup has begun, with the multi-team tournament set to start in UAE from August 27. While a few participating nations have already announced their squads for the tournament and the announcement doesn’t seem far away from the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
Though there are three-match home T20I series against Australia and South Africa respectively in September after the Asia Cup, it is likely that the squad, which plays in the all-Asian countries affair, will be the one that goes for the T20 World Cup.

Senior opener KL Rahul is set to make his comeback in the Asia Cup 2022 after a long hiatus due to an injury (sports hernia). Rahul was supposed to reclaim his opening position in the Indian team in the upcoming ODI series against Zimbabwe, but he is not completely recovered and will directly play in the Asia Cup 2022.
